WÖHR parking lifts 450 for the new construction of a residential and commercial building in Balingen

At the southern entrance to Balingen's city center, a striking residential and commercial building is being built that sets new standards in terms of urban planning and functionality. Volksbank Hohenzollern-Balingen eG is developing a modern, mixed-use building on the site opposite its main branch in Schwanenstrasse, which reinterprets the significant urban gateway situation on Friedrichstrasse.

The new building comprises around 2,100 m² of space for the Müller drugstore on the first floor and second floor. Flexible office space is planned for the 2nd floor, while the top floor will be home to high-quality apartments with good residential quality

The aim of the project is to create a functional, economical and architecturally high-quality solution that meets both the requirements of the anchor user and the urban planning conditions.In addition to the conventional parking spaces, two WÖHR parking lifts 450 were added to the underground garage. The mechanical parking system as a double system offers space for 8 car parking spaces. In order to meet the increasing demand for parking spaces for electric cars, each parking space on the platform was equipped with an e-charging station. The wide double platforms of the parking lift also offer sufficient space for comfortable entry and exit.
